- Plant information This plant has so many names, probably the most recognised is the Mother-in-Laws tongue, but it is also called snake tongue, devils tongue, snake plant, bow string hemp, jinn’s tongue. Seems like a tongue theme here. The plant is native to Africa, Madagascar and the Southern part of Asia. As this plant grows upright and does not spread out ideal for tight spaces.
- Plant requirements. Water sparingly if over-watered the leaves rot. If this happens pull out the bad leaves and stop watering it can recover from this if in time.
- Light requirements. Loves the sun but can survive in lower light places with less watering.
